My tips for amazing Autumn skin!

Whilst we might be blessed with lovely summer months here in Australia, the days are now starting to grow shorter, the temperatures are starting to drop and we tend to start spending more time indoors in drier environments.

This autumn skincare routine will give your skin an extra dose of hydration and keep it balanced through this change of seasons.  This routine will also help to correct any summer skin damage.

For your best Autumn Face

  1. Double Cleanse your skin with your favourite Cleanser 

I’m using Sodashi’s Clay Cleanser with Lime as I adore the subtle citrus notes.  This cleanser contains mineral-rich white clay, the perfect post-summer treat to deeply cleanse and gently repair the skin. It supports the skins’ natural microbiome barrier rather than stripping it away, for glowing balanced skin.

  1. Exfoliation is essential!

Follow with Sodashi’s Enzyme Face Polish one or twice a week – containing brightening Pomegranate enzymes and gentle rice grains, it effectively buffs away dead skin cells.

  1. Get your mask on!

Give your skin a top-to-toe home spa experience – ensuring it’s deeply hydrated and autumn ready.

  1. Soak your skin

If you have a bath, treat yourself to a relaxing 15-minute soak.  If not, skip this step and move on to exfoliation. For my bath I love to add Sodashi’s Body Balance Salt Therapy Exfoliant, these deliciously fragrant salts, contain many essential minerals that are not only deeply revitalizing but will help to soften and smooth rough or dry skin.

  1. Scrub up!

The summer sun, salt and chlorine may have left your skin feeling dry and flaky so a full body exfoliation will sweep away dead skin cells and stimulate your circulation. My favourite is the Jojoba Bead Body Polish.  It is a non-drying gentle exfoliator that also deeply hydrates the skin.

  1. Nourish your skin

The exfoliation will leave your skin perfectly prepped to absorb nourishment from your body moisturiser.  Sodashi’s deliciously fragrant Jasmine and Rose Body Lotion is my Autumn favourite, its lightweight formula leaves my skin feeling soft and supple.
