The Skincare products you need for longer lasting makeup

Have you ever wondered how to incorporate your Sodashi skincare into your makeup routine? Well we’ve got you covered! In this edit, Olivia Mann takes us through her top tips for longer-lasting makeup.

01. Moisturiser

In my opinion, a thick nighttime moisturiser should replace a makeup primer – ALWAYS! There is no need to spend more money buying a primer, your Sodashi face moisturiser will help your makeup stay on all day. The reason I prefer a moisturiser is because of its consistency, the ingredients and the fact that you don’t have to go out and spend money on a primer. It’s a no-brainer!

02. Mist

After moisturising, I’ll use a face mist all over my face – this helps to set the skincare base we’ve just applied, and it also smells divine – because makeup should be a fun process – not stressful! (Saying this – whenever I do a winged liner I spray this about fifty times… the girls that get it, get it!)

03. Eyes

Let’s also not forget about the eyes! I’ll first go in with the Eye Lifting Gel and Samadara Eye Creme to replace yet again, an eye primer! These products not only leave the skin looking healthy and glowy, but they also reduce puffiness, fine lines and dark circles!

04. Lips

Then for your lips remember to exfoliate! Lightly exfoliating the lips gives you a smooth base so your lipstick glides on effortlessly ensuring a smooth lip result!  Follow with your lip smoother to achieve a flawless lip look.

After you’ve applied your full face, follow with the face mist to set everything in place! And you’re good to go. I’ll even take a mini mist out with me so I can freshen up my makeup throughout my
day!
